If you Don't Have a Mobile Friendly Optimized Website Google Will Penalize You | The Time is Now

I talk a lot about the importance of a mobile friendly website for your business and now more than ever it's going to be CRUCIAL ... because if your website isn't optimized for mobile devices you are going to get hit hard by Google.

Google has announced that they will start to penalize any website that isn't optimized for a mobile device with this statement:

We will be expanding our use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal. This change will affect mobile searches in all languages worldwide and will have a significant impact in our search results. Consequently, users will find it easier to get relevant, high quality search results that are optimized for their devices.

Taking into consideration that 55% (and growing!!) of web browsing happens on a mobile device ... you will be in trouble is you aren't ready.  So what does this mean?

For most companies it means starting over with their website from scratch :(  The good news is that doesn't have to be super expensive ...
