Just Completed a Website for a New Venue and Studio Rental Space in Sacramento!

I am SO excited right now!!  I just completed a brand new website design for a Sacramento venue for weddings and events called Studio 817.  Typically I am hired to redesign websites that already exist ... but this project was a NEW website for Studio 817 because they really didn't have a website prior to now!  The website they did have was mostly focused on their rental décor items and then there was a single page to promote their new rental space ... so I was hired to make sure that the venue was the focus and I did my thing to make it SHINE online :)

>> And now screenshots of the site I created for Studio 817 <<

The first thing I wanted people to see was the beautiful light that comes into this space and give the visitor the feeling of crisp, clean, and blank canvas.  I also wanted to make sure the homepage was FOCUSED on exactly what services Studio 817 provides:  which are a gorgeous rental space and lounge decor rental setups.  I selected an image that I felt portrayed both of those well.  The second thing I wanted to make sure this website did was tell a story and capture the attention of not only a couple planning their wedding, but captured the attention of companies planning a corporate event or party.  I did that by separating the different uses for Studio 817 in a drop down navigation.

Because venues are such a visual thing, I made sure to include a link to Studio 817's instagram page in a sidebar on most of the pages to increase their following on social media.  I also made sure that the gallery pages were not only full with perfect photos, but also were Pinterest friendly for promoting across the web.  Each image was hand selected by me and my high standards and I know that will make a big different to the visitors of this website.

Remember:  even though people may not know great photography, they do know BAD photography ... having standout images on your website that are current and taken by a talented professional are going to be key in being successful with your company website.

My favorite page on the new Studio 817 website is their press page ... I love how I incorporated not only badges of where they have been featured, but testimonials floating around as well ... I feel it really shows off their accomplishments in a clean and beautifully organized way.

Of course no website I create is complete without full search engine optimization individualized for my client and a fully mobile and device friendly interface ... and now it's time to PROMOTE this gorgeousness across the web!!  So excited!  I hope you love it as much as I do :)
