Happy Halloween!! Producing A Styled Shoot?? Here Is One Of My Favorite Tricks - And It's a Real Treat!!

You've got dresses, a location, a bomb-diggity photographer, models, a cake ... it's styled shoot day!!!  WOOHOO!!!  I'm sure your #1 goal is to GET THAT SH*T PUBLISHED on a top wedding blog or in an awesome wedding magazine ... but have you thought beyond that??  Here is one of my favorite things to do at a styled shoot:

I just produced a styled shoot for one of my clients in Seattle a few weeks ago ... the team I pulled together knocked it out of the park!!  It's going to be published. << love my confidence there??  But, while I was there I wanted to come up with ways my client could get push beyond a feature ... ways to increase the awareness of their product.  I knew that Halloween was coming up so I brought some cute 'props' and we created a few shots that would be used across social media on Halloween << as in, today!!!  Here it is:

I love considering what holidays are coming when a styled shoot is happening ... I do this during my family photo shoots too ... bring little props that won't be included in every shot, but are used for part of the time to give a 'theme' to the image.

Let's see ... what's coming up ... Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve ... there is so much fun you can have at a shoot 'on the side' so that you create a great 'social media photo' BANK for later!!!
