Website Design Contract With

Heather Sharpe | The Editor’s Touch

Price:  $3,500

For website design projects the following contract will be agreed to.  All payments made are nonrefundable.  The payment plan follows these 2 payments:

  1. $1,750 retainer to get on my calendar for your website to be designed

  2. $1,750 to make the website live

  • Includes a full design of the entire website including: shop and online ordering, gallery, contact, about, home, faq

  • This website will be designed in Squarespace and the client understands there is a monthly or annual hosting fee associated with this account which is $24 monthly on average

  • Up to 25 shop items uploaded to the online shop - these credits do not expire, so if we launch with less you will have credits for future uploads

  • Once design proofs have been approved, there are no ‘design changes’ allowed without an hourly fee attached to them - the client will be told when a design concept is being approved for clarity, so they are aware

  • Heather Sharpe will create a website she feels is current and design elements that support the brand and vibe the client expresses interest in

  • The client is responsible for sending over images, logo files, and verbiages for the pages

  • In consideration for the funds paid by the client therein, Heather Sharpe will have creative freedom to design and will check in at the right times to make any changes - the client will not intervene or send changes until Heather has sent sneak peeks or links and has asked for input

  • The client will have final ‘sign off’ and the project will not be complete until it’s been approved for design, look, and feel by both parties

  • This contract shall be governed by the laws of Washington for which the jurisdiction and venue will be located in Seattle, WA.
